Fruity Loops and Midi controlled MPC

Hey, I have a question about this. I was thinking can I hook up my Akaki MPC to fruity loops as a midi controller or can I simply record the instruments on my MPC using the "record" function on fruity loops...

Yes. You would hook it up the same way you would hook up a normal MIDI controller.

yeah, when I had the 1000, I was doing that for a bit. But, I found it didn't really help me, because I knew both things and what they do, but didn't really get into how they could help one another. Much luck to you and maybe you can shed some insight after.

Why would you want to do this and how could it help your music development?

that's exactly why I stopped using it that way....didn't help me creatively at all....

if you're use to FL you would use your mpc (or pads) to program the drums on FL, using all of FL's sounds and sequence in Fruity. you would at that point be using the mpc strickly as a midi controller.

He should have just bought a MIDI controller, you would have saved a lot of money.
