Note variation slider

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GET THE NOTE VARIATION SLIDER TO CHANGE THE WAY A DRUM SOUNDS? FOLLOWING THE MANUAL BUT IT IS NOT WORKING WITH THE SLIDER.

Someone please help me on this

I found the manuals instructions but when I use the slider it does nothing can anyone tell me excactly what to do?

Can you use it for other things? Is it broken?

All i know is im trying to assign it so i can change the pitch of any individual sound with the slider adn it does not work

so once you assign everything (i've never done it so I don't know) the slider doesn't respond? Try using the slider to adjust the start / end points of a sample in the trim screen by holding shift and sliding it up or down to see if it does anything. ...if it doesn't, then theres' something wrong with the slider.

Make sure you're turning the variation on by hitting The after key.I know i know it sounds dumb but you might not be doing that.

Im only went on 2 different forums and if you read they are totally on different levels so what are you talking about?
