8 output board expansion for MPC 2000 XL

I installed my 8 output board for my MPC, hooked the 1/4 inch cable up to my mixer and nothing happened, the level didn't work

Did you hook up just one of the eight outputs available? Did you assign a sound to that particular output?

did you set the sounds to go out the right channels?

WDJ yeah I just hooked up one to see if it would work and how do you assign a sound to that particular output??

Thanx Paul R, I tried the instructions from the book and the light is blinking for the level but i still can't EQ for whatever reason, I guess I'll just **** with it tonight then, thanx
