wondering how many patterns are in the mpc 1000, preset , user? and the alllready installed samples wich im sure ill never use.

haha this ain't one of those typed of drum machines. The MPC 1000 can have 64 sequences, and 20 songs loaded at 1 time with 24 diffrent programs. This is a very large number.

Yeah the mpc's arent anything like...say...keyboards. There are some "preset" sounds that come with the 1k, but it's really nothing even worth considering.
There's no preset patterns that you can load up and such in the machine. I suppose you can make programs and set up a bunch of parameters and save it, and re-load and re-use the program but just change the sounds in the program screen.
The MPC's for the most part come as a blank slate and it's all up to the user to program and such. That includes sounds, sequences, and programs.
The 1k has some demo sequences. It's only 1k, so far, that has this, but it's nothing like a real preset bank.

If you are really who you say you are you should have known this already. 
This info is in the manual also, along with alot of other basic/general info you WILL need in the future, get to reading.
