Help...some of the pads don't respond!

Help...some of the pads don't respond!

What's the deal with this......is my joint broken? Need cleaning? Only like 5 pads are responding...anyone no what the problem is? Everything else works fine.

You do have sounds programmed to the other pads, right?

well....you know how you sample and have the choice to keep a sound and assign it to a pad......ONLY CERTAIN PADS WILL ALLOW ME TO PUT A SOUND ON THEM....THE OTHERS WILL NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY....THEY WON'T EVEN SHOW THE PAD NUMBER IN THE LCD WHEN I TOUCH THAT PAD......
IS IS THE MOTHER BOARD OR A BUTTON PROBLEM?
