New guy here.
I'm looking into buying an MPC some time in the future, probably the 2000XL I have started reading up on them in the last week or so and am desperate to get my hands on one, but, unfortunately, cash isn't in great quantity here as I am 17 and an unemployed student.
But, it's my 18th pretty soon so hopefully I'll be able to cop one around the end of November.
Anyways, what's the best place to buy an MPC? Is it recommended to go for the second hand machine? Maybe ebay? I had a quick search of ebay.co.uk and there wern't that many MPC to be honest, although they had about 5 up for auction, but only one 2000XL. How much should I be paying? I don't want to make a rash buy, and it turns out I've spent over the odds so just a rough pointer would do here.
