how to hear a midi file play

hi once more ,, did search ut got nothing ,, when i load a midi file in the mpc ,, how do you get it to play eg play a melody in tha mpc and hear the sound ,, help help!!!

how about loading in some samples that go with the midi file ? Or connecting a midi keyboard/rack to the mpc? Do you know what a midi file is ? Have you read the manual of your mpc where it explains all the different files ?

ok i have mastered that now all i had to do was say sample one C piano note , then go in programs and auto asign that one note to all the pads , now i have my midi melody playing sweet,,

one more problem is , can the mpc loop say 4 bars on track one then dont loop on track 2 , say my melody is 50 bars , and my snare is 4 bars, as i dont want to hit the snare pad for the whole song ,, thanks bud

Use copy and paste for your snare then. Drop it where u want it.
