how can i record the song i made in my mpc in my computer?
Ok first up ! I hope your not going from...
MPC S/Pdif (Digital) -----> to ------> PC Phono ( Analogue)
Because although the connectors look the same they are sending different information.
You have to go one or the other... Digital or Analogue
Digital IMO has a better advantage in a home set-up as you get a " digital replication " of the sound on your MPC -----> to ------> PC which eliminates general noise (hisss) asociated with low freqency analogue sound it is also less prone to audio cliping depending on the soundcard.
Go Digital - >
If your going digital you need to go digital out from your MPC Digital out to S/pdif on your PC sound card. Check that your sound card has S/Pdif. Also use a program like "Sound Forge" to record the track from your MPC. Also make sure the software is set to record from the S/pdif socket at the CD standard of 44.1kz (for less headaches of conversions and sh*t)
Go Analogue - >
Stereo out from MPC to stereo in or Mic in socket on PC (careful of your sound levels)
One !
