why does my sample sound better in

trim mode(spread across all pads) when i initialy sample a sound and press play it does'nt sound as good as it does in trim mode

Because it plays at fulll level ?

Yeah I know what he is talking about. I think is just plays LOUDER(?) than when you play the same sound while on the main screen for example. Even when you play a sound at full level (eg. full level button on), the mpc still plays the same sound louder while in the trim screen.
I'd like to know why this is, too.

in prog mode your samples Lvl is set at 70 by default.

try turning it up to 100.
