Is mpc 1000's sound results as good as the rest of the mpc's

Hallo there!!Im new to this forum..
im a bit confused of what to get (mpc1000 or 2000xl).I basically need the mpc for production and not for live gigs.I like the fact that 1k has usb connection so u get faster file transfer but from the other side u dont get some features as time streching and zonin and reverse.
Except this im more aware of the sound quality..is it as warm as the 2000xl..
..as i live in a town where i can not find an AKAI dealer, i cannot listen to none of them mpc's..so any suggestions would be helpful for me..thanks.

ive had both and wouldnt say theres a noticable dif

try searchin for 1000 vs 2000xl or something - theres been loads covered on this subject
