Im getting logic pro 7 next week. But im also thinkin of gettin
the mpc2000xl mc.

is there any point of the mpc as the logic has sampler
and sequencer etc.

basically what can i get on mpc which i cant on logic (besides the fun
of a mpc factor)

Not unless you want to. You get pads on the mpc, and alot of people like that. But that ain't no excuse to go by an mpc when you can now buy things like this. The only reason I might want to get an mpc if I was in your position would be for ease of use.

I say don't buy an mpc now, though. See how Logic works out for you. Be sure to give it plenty of time, too, 'cause if it's your first experience in music production (and to me it sounds like it could be), buying Logic straight off the bat is somewhat like jumping in the deep end. But in my opinion thats not necessarily a bad thing.

yeah, logic should keep you very busy for a while. i definately woundnt advise getting a 2000 at the same time. stick to logic for now and master what you can of it before getting anything else. if you want to be hitting pads, then you could always look at a trigger finger or mpd16 controller.
