I'm a producer, KaneBeatz, check out the site. (www.soundclick.com/kanebeatz)
Currently I use MPD16, Korg Kontrol 49, PC, Adobe Audtion and FL Studio 5 My beats are pretty good now but ever since I've been in school now for music tech i've wanted the MPC. I'm torn between the fact if its worth it. I've done my research, and the learning curve from software seems a little high but I'm willing to learn. But if I invest the money I want to be sure it will make me better. I plan on switching to a G5 with an MPC running Pro TOols. ANd I am not sure which I should get. Coming from FL 5 the Step sequencer will be a great aid, is it in all the MPCs? I want to get the best bang for my buck, and make sure it elevates my production in the long run. Experiencing hardware and the sound it offers will be great, if its as good as everyone says it is...
Please help any way you can with anything, tips, tricks, stories, answers.
