any advice on savin samples on mpc fom record

hi,basically ive recorded some samples on to my mpc 2000 and made this dope beat but when i go to save it says there is not enough memory on the floppy disk to save.
is there any possible way of savin my tune and samples over more than one disk?
or will i have to buy a zip drive or a hard drive so i'll have more memory? cheers

man...the only way to even start usin your mpc to the fullest is to forget about that floppy drive and get you a harddrive or zip drive. i prefer ZIP, but thats up to you. floppies dont hold sh*t! there's not enough room to hold a .pgm or .aps file on a floppy drive. isnt gonna happen!

get you a cheap scsi zip drive from ebay. $20

you can save across multiple disks on the 2kxl, not sure about the 2k though.

You can save space by converting any stereo samples that dont NEED to be stereo to mono

You can save accross multiple disks but you can NOT save a sample across mutiple disks. If you have a sample that won't fit on one floppy then you can't save the program that sample is in across mutiple floppies no matter how hard you try.
