Sampling from a dvd from my computer

Is there anyway to sample from a dvd player like Interwin to the mpc. I have an maudio interface which I've been able to sample sounds within cubase but that is the only program that the sampler reads. I also am aware of connecting directly to a standard dvd player I would just prefer to get it from the computer if possible. Thanks in advance.

Is there no way to sample a dvd from playing it through a computer? How do you configure your computer sound settings so that the mpc when connected can record any sounds that are played from a computer? I know there has got to be a way.

find the windows mixer
choose your recording device.
open your audio recording program and dvd movie playing program at the same time.

Play movie and record at the same time.
