yo u right, but sometimes ppl ask really ridiculous questions that could be simply answered much faster i might add by doin a search/trying it for theyselves instead of posting and waiting for someone to respond......some cats jus lookin for someone else to tell them how to do shit and to me thats lame

What these guys said. Plus; I'll help people out as much as I can, replying to their questions directly etc. But other times I'll tell them to search... and I'll even search for them to demonstrate how searching actually works! and can help them, or I won't reply at all.
If someone isn't going to put in the effort to help themselves first, why bother?

Re. Newbie Section
Here's the place where you can ask all those newbie questions....BUT, it is NOT an excuse to not have used the SEARCH function first....

Rarely will I dog out a newbie for a dumb question. You gotta admit there are some silly @ss questions on here that can be solved by doing a simple search.
I'm on this forum to teach and learn.

I feel the same way- each one teach one BUT if the same basic Q's are posted on a regular basis, tempers will flare. I thought about when I first started. I read alot so going thru older posts/reading thru search results was never a prob. I'll continue to help regardless.
