External Zip Drive doesn't work???

hi there,

i always used a zip 100 drive for my 2000 xl and never had a prob with it, but it stoped working the other day, so i got myself a new one.
but it didn't work, got another one - didn't work aswell.
then i dicovered the missing "termination" & the "scsi id" switches on the backside. that might caused problems.
maybe those are parallel drives?
what is the right term for the opposite?

sounds like you have the wrong drives.

you need the scsi not the parrallel.
