Hi people!
Technically I'm not even a newbie yet, but anyways
:
I use computers about 6-9 hours a day at university (I've even developed RSI), so when I get home I need to do something different than staring at a computer screen. Hence the above question, is it a viable option? I get the impression that most mpc users use their machines mainly for beat work and then transfer their stuff to a computer for arranging and mixing, but maybe I'm wrong..
So, any advice for an aspiring mpc head?
Trying before buying isn't an option I'm afraid, as Akai aren't trading in little ol' Norway anymore.. And the second hand market for mpcs is virtually non excistant as well
