YES I AM AWARE THAT MIDI IS INFORMATION AND NOT AUDIO, but my question is this:

i am tracking my mpc2000xl into my mbox to make some beat samples, but only the drum tracks come through to track. in other words, i only hear the drum beat in the pro tools session. how do i get my midi tracks heard in pro tools so that i can make data cds of sessions to burn for artists i sell tracks to?

the mbox does not have midi inputs on it. is there someway to turn my midi tracks on the mpc into physical audio tracks so that they will be heard in my pro tools session?

2kxl main outs to mbox.
mbox to pc/laptop/mac.
protools, u say you can hear the audio from the 2kxl, so record it
in protools. hit record on protools and then hit play on the machine.
burn your project files to cd.
no need for midi with what you are trying to do.
