Is there anywhere I can get a tutorial on sampling on the MP

I just got my MPC a week ago. I've sampled my vinyl onto my comp and chopped it up using audition. I loaded it to my CF card. How do I get it on the MPC so i can lay my own drums over each sequence, matter of fact how i do i make a sample a sequence?

Which mpc? Anyway, if it's an mpc that can read CF cards, load it and assign the samples to pads. Make a sample a sequence? Loop it? not sure what you need....

well if uve got all the waves saved to disk then just put the disk into the mpc. Press load and assign it to a pad.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. I have the 1000. I want to loop my samples, and add my own drums/bass over them. I'm confused as to how I'm gonna assign them to pads then put drums over them..

This site has over a thousand users, all of them with an mpc, and all of them know how to do it. And they all know from using the manual. the same manual you are using.

So what does that say about you?

Sit down with the manual, flip to the section for "loading samples from card" and "Assigning samples to pads". Now, with the manual open and the mpc in front of you, read the steps, and do them step-by-step. Have your hands on the mpc buttons while yo uread and push the buttons it tells you to push, one at a time.

I can't make it any easier than that.

Check da link out below. It should answer some of your questions u may have. Also the manual does have what you are lookin for its jus a matter of reading it, understanding it, and then applying it. My question for you is did u buy the MPC b/c everyone has one? Also before purchasing it did u even have a clue what it was capable of doing? Well im not going to get at u over dat cause u arent da first and u will not be da last to ask such a question. Check da link and get busy makin beats.

Yeah I know some of what it's good for, but I didn't see the manual say anything about loading sampled from the card, only saying how to load sampled directly from another source (turntable, etc.)

I think you guys got it twisted, I know how to load a sample to a pad... I don't know how to layer my own drums over these samples...thats what I wanna know....by samples I don't mean drum samples.

Ahh my B doggie. So I loaded each sample to a pad, and when I press the plad it plays the sample.
When I try to sequence it however, the samples won't play, can anyone tell me why (I did it exactly how the manual said to do).

Strange thread...

Do this... take your MPC. Unplug it.Open your window. Using your left and right hands pick it up and in one sweeping motion eject it through the window. Problem solved.

Im sorry i just cant take this thread seriously.
