How do you organise your MPC songs?

I've just gotten an MPC1000 and it's great, and easy to use, but saving & loading songs is kind of shifty.

Does anyone have any tried & true procedures for saving song files so you just load up the one thing and away you go, or do you have to load up the song, then track down all of the seperate instruments and load them as well.

It'd just be cool to hear how experienced users work with it, thanx.

Alright mate - I've posted this before somewhere in the Newbie forum, but if you go to this link at the Future producers interweb site, there's a short video tutorial that shows you exactly what to do when saving whole songs.

Word of warning though - it's for the MPC 1k - and although there are only slight differences between the 1k and the 2k in terms of saving your sh*t, it was a helpful resource for me when I was saving stuff.
