I think they are easy to reponse. First: I want to buy a MPC 1000. There here goes:

1. Can I connected it to the PC and use this in order to save the music?

2. Has it got own sounds to make drumkits? Can I make a drumkit like I was hitting the M-Audio Trigger Finger or MPD 16, loading my own kick, snares... samples?

3. Can I use it with FL? Making a drumkit all-in-one, and not like I've seen in the videos, where to make drumkit you got to play the kick first, snare second...

4. Can I sample music on the MPC from the computer (from a .mp3 file, for example).

5. I got the EDIROL FA-66 audio interface. I think that to connect the MPC 1000 to this one, I have to got 2 unbalanced --> RCA white / red cables, didn't I? Can you help me about this theme?

My home studio is basically composed of:

- EDIROL FA-66 audio interface
- EDIROL PCR-M1 keyboard controller
- M-Audio NOVA microphone
- ALESIS M1 620 Active Monitors

So now, I don't need a mixer. But I've in mind to buy some hardware to making drums. I've thought in Trigger Finger or MPD 16... but... why not an AKAI MPC 1000?

A lot of thanks. I'm waiting your help.

Greetings.

YES via USB but that is only file transfer. you can not save on your computer and expect it to play from your computer. DO A SEARCH ON HERE, THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT B4

2. Has it got own sounds to make drumkits? Can I make a drumkit like I was hitting the M-Audio Trigger Finger or MPD 16, loading my own kick, snares... samples?YES you can load your own samples

3. Can I use it with FL? Making a drumkit all-in-one, and not like I've seen in the videos, where to make drumkit you got to play the kick first, snare second...you can put a kick or any sound on any pad you want to and hit it anyway you want to. what do you mean use it with FL?

4. Can I sample music on the MPC from the computer (from a .mp3 file, for example).you can sample from ANY sound source

5. I got the EDIROL FA-66 audio interface. I think that to connect the MPC 1000 to this one, I have to got 2 unbalanced --> RCA white / red cables, didn't I? Can you help me about this theme?
if you want, you can use digital rca cables but you would only use either the red or the white, not both going into the FA-66. but keep in mind, if you use the RCA cables, they carry the same signal from your MPC and the main outs. if you want to (in the future) be able to multitrack out of the mpc into the computer, you would need 1/4" male to male cables.

THE MPC 1000 OR ANY MPC FOR THAT MATTER IS WAY MORE THAN THE MPD16 AND TRIGGER FINGERS. THE MPC IS NOT JUST A MIDI CONTROLLER.

DUDE, PLEASE READ UP ON THE MPC1000. DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL FROM AKAI's WEBSITE AND START READING BEFORE YOU BUY IT. YOU MAY COME TO SEE YOU MIGHT NOT NEED AN MPC FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING

A lot of thanks. I'm waiting your help.
