in this thread http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=38069
there's a couple images of a MPC1000 with parameters like timestreching and LFO settings showing onscreen.
why are'nt those parameters to be found in my MPC1000?
have i missed something here or are those functions only available with the harddrive kit and updated OS? are there custom OS since the version number onscreen in the thread above aren't available on the Akaipro website

Heya this is my first post so don't kill me!!
What I think cooocooo1 was trying to say is that it says at the top of the post "MPC1000 v2.0 videos, pics and HDM10 pics and order info." So you won't get these features until you get O.S. 2 for your MPC. Hope that answers your questions...

exactly my point! :) since this is the section for the newbie questions, a simple answer if the features are in a current OS realease should'nt be that hard to answer even though it's my first post
*edit*
you're looking at a movement II drumcomputer on the avatar.
i'ts a early 80's drumcomposer with both digital and analogue synthesis
only about 10 of them made and i've seen none of them available on the usedmarket. holler if you see one cause i gotta have it
