Roland Fantom as a slave/midi...

wut up.. i just got a roland fantom x6 and im trying to use the mpc as a sequencer....cant figure out how to use it through midi, i get no sound. ive searched for this in the forums and cant find one that will tell me what i need to know. can someone that has the X6 and the mpc1000 walk me through what i need to do.. thanks

make sure ya keyboard is plugged into the mixer

Fantom OUT ---> MPC IN
MPC OUT -------> Fantom In

Make sure u have the stereo outs from the fantom plugged into the mixer

my bad jacpot i had class today... i didnt know that i needed a mixer, i thought i could just hook them up together thru midi.

Well midi does not transmit sounds so u need a mixer
