This may sound stupid...

What are you guys doing for live shows? Live drum programming? Improvisation? What do your live setups involve? Let me know. I am interested to know what people are doing.

Well not that its too exciting but what I'm sorting now is a live setup for my band to gig on JAN 4th! Basically I am the keys player/techie, so I will have a Viscount Viva 88 for piano sounds mostly because I am classically trained pianist and love hammer-weighted actions, a Roland synthesizer (can't remember model) and a Novation K-Station going through a Wah pedal. Then I'll have an MPC 2KXL which sequences blips and breaks and also patch changes for my K-Station and the Drummer's Roland SPD-S. Thats it...

Sounds cool. Would the blips and breaks already be sequenced or would you be sequencing them as you go through the show?

Nah I'm lazy so i'll have 'em all sampled up and ready to go beforehand.
