I downloaded a program from mpcsamples.com and i try to load it through the USB port. It says it loads....but its nowhere to be found. I have blue box and i cant program it because the file is being read as a APK. Not WAV...i dunno what i need to do. Its not just that program, i have a cd full of samples givin to me from a friend, they wont load up either...they do load, but i have nowhere to find em.

Can someone tell me what im doing wrong, and since i have a MPC1000 mpceditor wont work

be creative. Y not burn to cd than sample into mpc off the cd? Why not plug your cpu into your mpc and sample the sounds? Y not convert each file to a wave file on your computer than save to cf disc? use your imagination.

Man....first off this CD i have is a burnt CD of samples already in WAV form, in BLUE BOX i try to assign the pads with these samples and when i browse for files i click the file with the samples and choose what i want. After i choose the files there are no sounds to be found because only apk files are being shown and only those files, but when im not in blue box and i goto the file i can see and hear all the samples.

Other than that the files on the CD are ready to be put in my MPC(USB), i take the file, transfer it to my CF card. Goto Load on the mpc...i select the file to load, After all that i cant find where the sounds are(Uprgraded RAM, so i kno its not that).

I also have samples bought off of mpc-samples.com as well and they dont load in right.

I cant take samples off of a CD player yet because i need to get to guitar center so i can get the adapter i need.(so im gonna wait for that)

Other than taking samples from a CD player i kno theres a way to take samples from the CPU, i just dont know what im doing wrong.

When you do your blue box thing, place ALL the files it creates AND samples in the SAME folder on your CF card.

Now go and try to load the file that blue box created.

I think this might be a case of misunderstood file types/formats.

And if converting doesn't work out then Jacpot is on point with his advise as well.
