question about the basic setup and saving options on a 2KXL?

wonderin what all i need to get for it gonna have enough money in a month for one...

USB Disk Drive (put my samples onto disk then load them into the mpc...can i do this? or will the mpc not let me do to the format of the disk?)

Zip Drive (can i use this instead of disks? if so should i get a usb zip drive converter instead of a disk drive?)

Audio Workstation CD Burner (save my tracks to cd...what format does the 2kxl save ur tracks as on the zip disks?)

I am kinda confused as to what you are asking.

If you have an MPC2000XL and you want to know the best way to store files, then I would get an internal Memory Card Reader for the MPC and an external USB Card Reader for your computer.

That is my setup and it works fine.

To burn a CD I just record my MPC tracks (via mpc audio outs) to my Digital Recorder and the burn the CD from there.

I believe the MPC can export to WAV files, but Im not sure about that.
