HELP with MPC2000 and ZIP drive

I was wondering, can I:
Get a SCSI to USB cable,
Connect it to USB adapter cable
(cuz the end has to be usb B)
& hook that into a zip drive

Would that work with my MPC 2000?
or would I buy it all, plug it in, and be very disapointed

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT

waaay to technical, right? so what should i do for putting files on my2000 i cant resort to floppys, and am limited by scsi!

Scsi zip,card reader,jaz drive....

Any one of these will do.And it's alot better than floppies.
There is a way to install a card reader into the 2k but it's alot harder than instaling on the Xl.You might be able to search for the info on here and find something but i think only two people have done it succesfully.

...i just got a scsi to usb off e-bay for $21...but i had to get a male scsi adapter for it because the scsi to usb had a female end on it and my drive had a female end as well...
