Can the Akai Z8 Digital Sampler Read VST Plugins?

I was wondering this as im debating rather or not to get an MPC 4000 or an MV 8000. This basically is what has me up in the air about this. If so, then I will buy it, but if not then I will buy an MV8000 and a Recptor that does that. Thanks!
