mpc 1000- korg question

When resampling a song from mpc 1000 using korg sounds using mpc 1000 how can I record the korg sounds. When recording a song I only hear mpc sounds and not korgs.

the Korg presets/programs must have their own track/midi channel.
if the song has multiple sequences, the tracks have to be the same through out-
snare-trk 1
korg -trk2 and so on.
korg should be hooked up midi in and out to 1k
basic stuff to investigate....
