hi, my mpc4000 came with samples already in the hard drive and i just want to know how i can reorganise the folders and add stuff to it. I tried aksys but it doesnt have or i cant find the option.

also, in aksys there is one folder (on the hard drive) which is a bit funny.. when i click on it it says usb error: cable unplugged?
then i have to restart aksys.. im just gonna delete that folder. :?

help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks..

You can also create Blank folders in your MPC if your not hooked up to a PC. Load your data then save it into the new folder...

thanks!!

so if i want to have the folders organised differently, do i have to save them all to the computer first and then copy them into the mpc again?

The hard drive in the mpc is called "no name".. how can i change this??

sorry for the noobiness..

hehe,, ok let me make it clear.

in the hard drive theres on folder, this folder contains many sub-folders with different samples.
if i want to load this into my mpc, i have to load everything. i cant go into the main folder and select a subfolder. which is why i want to take out the sub-folders and make them main folders.

Of course you can...press the cursor right button to open a folder. That is the button immediatly next to the data wheel....
