I am fairly new to beat making, having started out with fruity loops & then recently moving on to the MPC1000. I am slowly but surely finding my way, with a lot of help from the 'search' function on this website, downloading turotials & the MPC2000XL e-book - ok it was not desgined for the 1000, but it has been a lot more useful than the manual 
Lately I have been starting to slowly building up my drum kits from my record collection, whilst attempting to continue my education by spending some time listening to & attempting recreate beats from my favourite producers. I'll work steadily towards my own sound, but everyone is influenced by their predecessors in some way as they try and learn their craft.
What I would like to do is get hold of other patterns/programs that I can study and play around with. I've searched high & low on the web, but without any luck. Does anyone know where I can get hold of any, or are people willing to share a few with a newbie to help him continue his education?
