I apologies if it is but I am a new user of the MPC1000.

I bought it mainly for making beats, but I was wondering if it is also possible to load longer samples so I can use it more to trigger worded. musical, looped samples etc?

I used an SP505 before this and that did it, but I soon ran out of space on the internal memory.

The style of music that I'm apart of is on the more agressive rock/metal side of things and we use alot of electronica witin our sound.

Any help will be appreciated.

As long as you have the Ram you should be able to load up a few long samples.


I guess you could also get the HD for it to keep all of them on, but I have the 2KXL so i'm not sure about the last part (That's what I've heard).

I expanded the RAM to 128MB so there is plenty of room.
