2 Questions About MPC 1000

i figured out how to assign as sound to the mpc 1000, but i am having trouble figuring out how to erase an assigned sound. i tried everything i could think of but nothing works. thanks in advance for the help.

question 2 is someone i know thats a producer told me i should update to the mpc 2000xl. was wondering if someone knows the biggest advantages/disadvantages about switching to the 2000xl mpc?

mode--->trim, select you sample, hit window--->delete

well if thats important to you, by all means get what the man said to get. but if you want a better machine, take my advice or better yet do some research and make your own decision.

It's definitely not an update, the 2500 would be an update.

The older MPCs are still nice but they are slower, have less memory and cannot be interfaced with a computer so easily.

Plus having an internal hard drive and CF card reader as (almost) standard is much nicer than zip disks and floppies!

THey do have some nice features though, better build for one, auto-chromatic etc etc.
