hey,,,do you know that one sound that sounds like a snare thats been choped and streched,,,,its sounds like a baseball card in a bike spoke....aphex twin uses that sound a lot...so does mr. han of linkin park.....

can you make that noise on a MPC 2000xl?

Hook a mic up to your MPC. Put a card in your spokes. Spin wheel. Sample.

yeah your MPC does not make any sound at all, only what you sample and put in it, i think thats why its calles a Sampler!

Aphex twin makes thats sound by running around tubstations at 3am on acid with a microphone and tape deck recording people farting!

load up a snare sound,.. chop it,... stretch it,... simple

they do it in drum and bass too you can take any high pitch snare and speed it up like roll the hit but some reverb on it and a lil distortion and tadah!

i just got this mpc like a week ago with no manual

whats up with the low disk space,,,,,whats the best way to store beats other than zip?
