No u can't load Rex and Rex2 Files into the MPC directly, but theres another Method,

METHOD 1: The 5-Step-Workaround:
1st Step: Open your Rex file in ReCycle and export it as an AKAI Programm File (.akp) like this:
Go FILE >> Export >> Select "AKAI Program File" from the Dropdown menu "Save as..."
Make sure you save the (.akp) in a new folder, because it slices the Rex into seperate samples,
which you dont wanna have all over your desktop!
2nd Step: You need to Import the .akp File into a Programm like BLUEBOX
which can be found here:http://webpages.charter.net/dereese/gary/akai.
In bluebox open the (.akp) file via: FILE >> Import...
3rd Step: Now the Slices of the Rexfile get imported and you can assign them to the 16 Pads
that are shown on the Display.
4th Step: After assigning the slices to the pads Save as an AKAI Programm File (.pgm).
5th Step: Load the .pgm to your MPC and you're done...
PS: Be sure to check out the above mentioned video...
METHOD 2:
If you dont have the Original Sample of the Rexfile anymore you can go to PROCESS in ReCyle and select
the Opttion [b] "Export as One Sample" [b] and then Export it as a .wav FILE >> Export >> (.wav)
Since you can Slice Samples easily in the MPC anyway, you can now use this wave to start over with !!!
Personally I think I would stick with Method 1... because its saving time plus the slices are exactly the same...
