1000+alesis micron

I beeen checkin out every post and reply on this site so i can have as much info as possible(when it comes to the mpc or emu sp, you can never know too much) but some dude in the forum sed somethin bout midi i/o that got me confused.....heres what im tryin to figure out.........if i got microns midi o to mpc midi in and mpc midi out to micron midi in and the mpc stereo out to line 1 of my mixer and micron stereo out to line 2 of my mixer... now is this correct ... i mean i'll be able to transfer midi between the 2 pieces and hear both pieces via my monitors or thru my stereo reciever..?

Yes If you have both connect to a mixer and have them midi'd up then yes u will hear them both play.

thank u 4 all ur help... u answered me about recording fibnished compositions(BEATZ) to cd..... well what do i need to this, beside the mpc,synth,mixer,and pc? a cd-r and a sound card with dig ins or analog ins????? and what brand sound card and cd-r do u recommend????? if any of the questions i ever ask seem dumb, maybe they are, but the mpc cost toooo much money to f@#k up by doing something im unsure of. I appreciate everybody on this forums help, i know if i had everything right now( mines in layaway for a few more days need mo $$$) i know i wont be able to pull myself away from it... my pc is actually my moms so it aint in my room/makeshift studio/smokaz lounge/ but soon as i get enuff cream to get my own pc it'll be right beside evrythang else...... i only wanted to know bout recording to cd cuz the idea i had before owning the mpc,etc...was thast u recorded thru the mixer but i didnt know if i had to have a pc cd recorder, etc... also i wanted to know cuz the salesman at GC sed oh hook up a cd-r to the mpc's dig coaxial out----him saying that i thought to myself how will it record synth parts if i dont sample them into the mpc? if i had a cd-r hooked up to the mpc's dig coax out wouldnt the cd ownly record whats coming out of the mpc's audio and not midi i/o??? I only wanted to clear up confusion...
