When saving beats with synth parts that are not sampled into the mpc but rather midi-triggered thru the mpc and the actual sound going to the mixer..what im gittin' at is...when your saving that to the cf/hd when you go to play the beat back ,for someone else to hear/or to hear yourself, will the synth parts still play out the speakers as long as the synths midi i/o is connected to the mpc's i/o and synths stereo outs connected to the mixers ins; just as they were hooked up when making the beat in the first place??

Yea...you just need to remember the sounds you used for those synth sounds...some modules will save them, for me since I dont know how to save them on my module, I just save them in the MPC and type the sound name in the track field so when I load my seq I can see which sounds I used then load them from my module.

You should be able to assign different programs on a module to be on different midi channels. Therefore you don't have to remember what sounds you used, just make sure you don't change the midi channel settings on the synth between projects and forget to put them back.
