MPC 2500??? OR 1000???

I am now very close to buying an mpc. I am able to affored the 1000 and with a bit more saving the 2500, so the difference in price doesnt trouble me. However, i am stuck between the choice of them both as although i prefer the overall feel, setup and look of the 2500 ive read many topics on problems it has. Could anybody fill me in on any problems that seem to be occuring frequently on mpc 2500 machines and which they suggest would be a better buy. Thanks In Advance.

You can read all about it in the mpc2500 section. Why dont u choose what u like. Its like buyin shoes. You gotta get what u like and feels comfortable. Also if u can test both the 1k and 25k out.

yes the pads on the 1000 arent great which is a point that a lot of people hate

but it doesnt mean you can't get freaky with it

the 2500 is better if your in need of the 8 outs, the extra q-links, and the extra midi in's and out's

other then that i really dont see any distinct advantages, function wise, that the 2500 has

im probably bias because i own a 1000, but if i had a choice right now from any of the mpc's, i would probably get a 2000xl. that is the ultimate beat machine for me, but you asked about the 1000 and 2500
