sync problems with mpc2000xl

im trying to sync the mpc to the PC, I use a mpc2000xl plus a pc withj cubase and a host of vst's I think the only way to do it for my set up is to have the PC as master, cos I want to use a keyboard to use the vst's and the mpc for drums only. i cant seem to get em to sync, cant work it out with the manual, can you think what i need to do?

go into cubases midi preferences and select it as the sync master.

dont see why you cant use the mpc as the master if you'd prefer tho.

cheers, I think cubase does not like to be slave, I shall check it now!
