what software do you use to convert MP3 files to WAV to use for sampling? I can do it in Sonar but that's too much trouble, so I''m looking for a small and quick utility that will do the same, ... this is for my MPC1k.

Thanks

yea lamp is right. all you really have to do is open it in your audio editor then save it as a wav file lol. thats the easiest way.

if you want to use a converter, CDex is free and i've used it for years.

www.download.com has it.

Ok sweetie what type of file do u have? If u just want to load up sounds on your mpc but they arent .wav files then get a converter. But if you have files that u want to chop up,ect then using the Audacity is great.

Check out this converter. I downloaded it today and it helped me convert and audio cd track to a .wav file on my laptop.
