MPC Question

I just got an MPC 2000. I was wondering is there a way to record on the mpc using two different programs at the same time. For instance.... If I record a drum on track 1.... and want to switch programs to record a sample on track two.... it makes what I recorded on track one switch to the same program I'm trying to record a sample on if I switch programs. Can anyone help out? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong. Thanks!

The MPC2000 can only use one program at a time. It states that in the manual. So you cant have more than one program being used. If you dont have a manual get the one below.
