speed of sample

i just got my mpc. and i was **** with it. i was wondering why when my sample is in the sample edit it plays the way i would like it to, but when i play it on the pad its slowed down.

params settings, read the manual. push buttons while reading.

read the manual again.

thats what ive been doing. its not anything to do with the q link at all. and the manual is currently on my lap wide open and i have been searching for what is wrong. it only does it while on the main screen. its odd. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You sure it's not what Lamp said?... The pad's settings in the parameters screen? (which is in Program mode if your MPC is anything like the 2000/XL)

Yeah Mike, share so someone else can see what you did and try that out.

i was looking in the slider for paramaters but it was under program. and the tone was negative a couple decibles. simple shit but i dont quite yet know my way around.

Cool, give it some quality time. Be patient and stay on it, you'll be moving around in the menus like a fish in water, but DO give it some time and don't leave the manual sitting on the side. Read every page and don't skip.
