Well i purchased my mpc 2500 a little bit ago and have been kickin around going the software route and a midi controller for melodies and so forth...

BUT...i hear alot of talk about this unit...

"Roland Fantom X6"

I have a chance to pick one up for 1100 and it is only a few months old...like new...

im wondering if i should grab it....or if im better just going software/midi controller which would only cost me about 100 bucks (already have software)

Any tips or suggestions would be very appreciated....im still new to the production game, but it would be nice to have 2 high end pieces of gear that i own and can grow on for years to come....

Good investment or save the funds?? remember its like new and i can get it for 1100 maybe 1000 even if im lucky...

You will like the Board, if you could afford get it, do what your heart contents, try it out, play with the effects, skip back sampling, i dont like the pads on it, so i use the Mpc for that, heres a thread here under my name on the forum where the Fantom X6 is talked about, Go for it, Synagodz[/quote]
