Hi, Just got my mpc. I sampled some drums from vinyl and have just trimmed out one single drum kick. i assigned it to my 1st pad and im having something weird happen. When i push the pad fast i get the normal single drum hit. But if i hit the pad in a steady rythm it will sometime give me 2 kicks instead of one. almost like its starting to drum roll. it doesnt do this if i hit it soft but only when i hit it hard and at the steady rythm . kinda strange.. tried search no luck? any ideas? tnx

update: i found this post http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php ... ght=double i am having same issue. But i do not have full level on and timing is set to of.. i tried it with timing and without and with and without full level  helpppppp!!!!

its you, not the machine, when you get a better feel for the pads this wont happen anymore.....

this is very common with newbies...

i found alot more info after searching for note repeat. This is deffinitly me and not the machine haha. I hit the pads with my fingernail and it gives double note. i hit it with my finger flat against it and it plays normally. Going to take some geting used to but i can see this becoming usefull. tnx.
