Turntable to Mpc1000 connection help

Yo i gota Stanton str8-100 and a Vestax PMC-05 Pro II. Ive tried hooking them up 2 mu mpc1000 and I get really bad sound. Can anyone please tell me how to exactly connect all this 2gether. Plug what into what. Ive used the search forum but it didnt help. HELP PLEASE!!! Peace and Thanx

tt to mixer mixer main outs ( rca ) to mpc record in ( 1/4 inch ) so you need rca to 1/4 cables. Also make sure everything is grounded from tt to mixer or you might get some hum.

or...

you can switch the tt to line level and bypass the mixer all together...

or...

use the spdif output to the spdif input on the 1k

my tt dose not have digital outs how do they sound coocoo1?

Yo thanx for the replies ya'll. But I still have a problem. I tried both methods (tt to mixer to mpc and switching to line and gong directly to mpc) and I still got terrible sound. It sounds real low and staticky. Am i doing something wrong? I got to KRK 5 Monitors if that helps. The rca cables im using are rca on both ends but i got adaptors i use to connect into the mpc. ANy feedback is greatly appreciated. Peace and Thanx
