WHATS UPS. I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM. IT IS COOL THERES ALOT OF GOOD INFORMATION. BUT ENUFF OF THAT/


IM TRYING TO CONNECT A MOTIF ES RACK GENERATOR TO MY MPC2500. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW A SITE OR KNEW THE STEPS ON HOW TO CONNECT the TWO THROUGH MIDI.

I have both those pieces of gear. The MIDI OUT of your mpc should connect to the MIDI IN of the motif es. simple as that. now if you have a midi keyboard controller (or plan to get one), the MIDI OUT of the keyboard should connect to the MIDI IN of your mpc.

On your MPC below the track number, change the Type to MIDI, turn Pgm OFF, and select the Midi channel to 1A, or the corresponding channel in your rack from MULTI mode.
