HELP!!!

this is prob like the day one thing u do with ur MPC but ive only had mine one day haha.... ok ive loaded my samps into my pads to make up the melody and have triggered the 1st samp to play.. now i wanna cut the second one in manually when i hit the next pad... can someone pls tell me how u get ur samps on the pads to canx the existing one out that is playing when u tap ur next pad... mine are just overlapping at the mo.
