my vehicle of choice for recording is a zoom 1266....
now we have two mics... mic 1 is a shure sm58!!! the 2nd mic is an audio technica AT3035 http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/resou ... 035_bm.jpg
I'm using the $50 metal pop filter from Guitar Center, u know the best one..
my question is why do my vocals on the AT3035 sound "flat" compared to the shure sm58, in all honesty the shure whups its a$$, you feel the rawness in the voice and the hunger when we do takes using the shure.. but when we do the AT3035 its all gone... what the deal?
the only difference is we dont' use the pop guard when recording wit the shure....
the AT3035 is phantom powered via the zooom...
let me hear yallz knowledge, tips and insight into this..
god bless
