I'm from the UK and I'm trying to get a second hand MPC for cheap so I've started looking at getting one from abroad like Japan or America.
1)other than the different power cables, is there any reason why someone shouldn't buy an MPC 2000XL from a country other than ther own.
2)Other than ebay, does anyone know of any good sites where I could find cheap mpcs? (Plus I saw a video interview with pete rock and he had this awesome special edition one (SE3 I think) which I think'd be cool to have)

Whats up man.

I live in aus and i got mine from america. if your doing ebay, make sure you get one off a seller with alot of positive feedback. before i got mine i had alot of **** trying to scam me. just be smart, dont be stupid. the scammers these days are pretty smart, but if you think about it logically you will realise your getting scammed. but yea, got it from america, copped it about a week ago and i love it.

Hey Im from Ireland n I got an MPC off ebay from America with no problems. The main thing is, when u win the bid leave a note to ask the person sending it to mark that the product is a gift on the box, i was taxed 180euro. Other than if your careful there should b no probs what so ever. Gud luck

Theres not many other options. Ebay is your best bet. But make sure you get pictures of the actual unit that they are selling and not just a stock photo.

And it's also best to find companies who are selling equipment such as MPC. They are prretty and won't f*ck with you. Shipping insurance and return policies are something you should keep a eye for.

"No reserve" pretty much means "bend over please". They just trying to screw you.

Good luck.
