Sequence tempo/pitch question....

yo, yo i had a question.. say i lay down a sequence, with a 2bar loop chopped into 2 and assigned to 2 pads and i lay down the sequence when i adjust the tempo higher than the last chop ends and theres a blankl spot or the sequence loops before the second chop is finished playing...i hear cats on here saying they laid the seq down and then sped the seq up..im just wondering whta they doin that i aint...or do u just gotta pitch shift,time stretch or just tweak the samples tune in pgm mode or what?? Any help would be lovely...Peace and hot fishgrease.

You do know that you can adjust the tempo in 0.1 increments? That should usually be enough to make it fit.
